Businesses that have made use of Information Systems have enjoyed the benefits of improved business systems and having automated solutions to many of their problems. Small businesses are constantly competing with large organisations, it is therefore essential for small businesses to take the necessary steps to stay ahead of the game in order to survive.  Information Systems has in more than one way made way for businesses to be able to achieve a competitive advantage. Small businesses are easier to manage compared to bigger companies; they have the ability to respond faster to change. When Information Systems is introduced to a small business one can only imagine the rate at which business’s operations are bound to take place.
